Summer is in full bloom! I spent some time playing and biking with my kids outside today and I sweated buckets! This weather calls for a much needed cool off in pool this afternoon.

I had to move my running indoors this week quite a bit because the heat index was too high to be sweating it out outside. On some days it is just way too hot to exercise hard outside, even if you follow all the great tips for running outside. Your body can just overheat way too quickly.

On the other hand I always feel like that eating healthy and light is so much easier during the hot Summer months. During the heat I tend to eat so much more fruits and salads than usual! What is your favorite summer food?
