Sunday Fitness & Food – Wisdom from a tree

Hello everybody and welcome back to Sunday Fitness & Food – Wisdom from a tree

The last couple of days have brought lots of snow Up North and I loved all the beautiful Winter Wonderland pics on Instagram. I can’t wait to hear and read how lots of you managed to stay fit during the heavy snow fall. I have visited Germany last week and I really enjoyed the cool breezy crisp air, a big difference from the Florida climate…

Last night I came across a beautiful quote. It kind of stayed with me and gave me lots of food for thought.

Thanks for everybody linking up to Sunday Fitness & Food.  2 of the posts from Sunday Fitness & food I’d like to share with you are

Kaila’s unbelievable 2:57 Marathon in Phoenix Arizona. Kaila is the writer and speedy runner behind the Healthy Helper Blog. A blog full of healthy resources and tips.

Maybe her healthy recipes hold the secret to a sub 3 hour marathon ….

  11. You know the wisdom from the tree is not something to throw a stick at (pun intended) there’s so much truth to this!
I relaxed more this weekend, had more down time and caught myself just basking in the quietness. Sometimes we crave that more so than running around all over the place!
Hope you have a good week Ilka can’t wait to hear about your trip!

    • I loved this quote so much, that’s why I needed to share it with you guys!! You had an awesome race weekend Tricia, so enjoy the quiet time this week!!

  12. I love the advice from a tree! The winter weather is beautiful for a few days, but tough to train through all winter… I’m definitely looking forward to spring!

  13. I love that wisdom from a tree! I am going to save that on Pinterest! Germany sounds like a fun trip! 🙂 But I am so over the cold. It’s been up to 80 this last week here, and then the next day it was 49. Gotta love Oklahoma weather! 😉

  14. The soup looks delicious. I want to try it so much. Thank you for your very meaningful quote, I’ve never thought that even a tree can give us such valuable advice.

  15. Thank you so much for featuring my soup, Ilka! I love that soup–I actually had it for lunch today! Have a great week!
