Sunday Fitness & Food – Brr!

By now, it has even has started to cool down here in Palm Beach, at least in the morning and evening hours… I had my first run in over a year in the 50s (Brr!!) today and it felt like pure Bliss! I have to admit my body was in shock during the first mile or two, but then it felt great and I was hoping it will stay around for a few more days!

I just realized this morning that this is the last weekend in January already. I hope all your New Year’s resolution are still going strong!!

  2. Good morning Ilka – Can’t believe January is almost over either! I wanted to pop by and share some of my new yummy recipes! I’ve linked up my Healthy Superfood Salad a delicious Santa Fe Chicken Bowl (healthy and delicious too) and a peanut butter honey sandwich, YUM!   3. The 40s and 50s are my ideal running temps!! Glad you could enjoy something other than hot. 🙂

What is totally crazy is that I’ve had three outdoor runs (since last Thursday), and I’m not dressing excessively “warm” for them…three fleece-lined layers has been serving me well (and that’s without a “windbreaker” on top. When our temps reach 40, I’m gonna be out there in a tank top and shorts LOL

    • Running in freezing cold is almost as uncomfortable as running in high heat Kimberly. Both extremes are hard on runners! Soon you’ll get warmer temps!!

  5. Boy did the end of January sneak up on us. I had most of my post finished when it dawned on me I need to check in to see where I am on my goals. I’m trying to do better about being accountable.
