These Paleo and gluten-free oven-baked turkey meatballs are not made with breadcrumbs, but rather with almond meal, which gives them a super soft texture and very low in carbs!
These delicious low-carb oven-baked meatballs are low in fat as well, and only take about 18 -20 in the oven to bake. There is no need to fry or sear them first!
My kids don’t know anything about ingredients yet and neither do they care but these oven-baked meatballs sure are a big dinner hit at our house! I add them to pasta dishes or as a salad topping.
They make a great-leftover snack for the next day, and can be easily and conveniently added to your weekly meal prepping.
Oven-baked turkey meatballs are a great for the whole family!
You will feel how much easier these turkey meatballs are on your digestion as well. Almond meal makes them gluten-free, grain-free, light, fluffy and Yummy!
1 pound of Ground Turkey, I use dark meat but you can also use ground turkey breast
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 ground Garlic
1/2 Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 cup Almond Meal
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl add turkey meat,almond meal, egg, herbs, salt and pepper.
Combine and mix all ingredients well.
-with wet hands form little meatballs, about 2″ in diameter and place them onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Make sure they are about 2″ apart.
Bake for about 18-20 minutes.
Serve hot or cold!
