I think we all agree that chia seed pudding is probably one of the healthiest snacks and breakfast ideas. This Matcha Chia Pudding is a great way to add some energy to your day!
Chia Seeds are true powerhouses. Amazing how much nutritional punch is packed into just one little serving. Fiber and Omega-3 fatty acid (ALA) top the list of nutrients for these little diet wonders.
Matcha Chia Pudding is a super-convenient way to set your day for a great start.
I usually prepare my chia seed pudding the night before. After I prepare it I place it in the fridge overnight, so the seeds are well soaked and my pudding is ready in the morning for breakfast or mid-morning snack.
I loved the idea of adding green tea Matcha powder to my chia pudding. Adding even more healthy antioxidants to an already healthy snack. The small amount of caffeine from the Matcha powder helps with your energy levels. As a matter of fact I have started adding Matcha powder to a lot of my snacks and smoothies lately and I absolutely love all the benefits that are coming with it.
Hemp Hearts are nutrient-packed super seeds, as well. I love sprinkling them on my salads, puddings or adding them into my smoothies. They are are another great source of Omega 3 fatty-Acids. They contain good amounts of Iron, Phosphorus, Zinc (!) and even Magnesium and Manganese.
Hooray for healthy raw nutrition!
Raw Honey is my sweetener of choice when it comes to Matcha chia pudding.

1/2 teaspoon of Hemp Hearts

- in the morning uncover chia pudding and sprinkle with chia seeds
You can also place the chia seed mixture in a small bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap for you to enjoy your Matcha Chia Pudding in the morning.
