There is almost no better way to beat the heat than cool mango & strawberry popsicles , if they happen to be nutritious it’s a double win.
Popsicles are my kids favorite summer treat, and almost no day goes by without having this cool treat. I’m not a big fan of the popsicles most brands offer with all the artificial dyes and artificial sweeteners. I wanted my kids to have something more nutritious, especially when it come to a fruit snack. It feels good to know they are getting a serving of whole foods with these fun popsicles and some immune boosting antioxidants, like Vitamin C and Vitamin A. A nice healthy dose of enzymes from the fresh Mango and higher quality sugars than most store-bought varieties offer. If popsicles happen to be in their favorite mold shapes like these rockets you can almost never go wrong.

The blender of my choice is the NutriBullet. It blends the fruits for the popsicles smooth and creamy and preserves important nutrient components. Another important aspect of the Nutribullet is that it is  easy to use and clean. Double win.

2 cups frozen Mango (do not defrost)
1 cup Orange Juice ( I try to use fresh squeezed whenever possible, but store-bought is fine)
2 Tablespoons Raw Honey
1 cup Filltered Water

1 cup Strawberries
2 Tablespoons Raw Honey
1 cup Filtered Water

Blend both batches separately in a blender, fill into Popsicle molds and put into freezer for about 7 hours.

My personal preference for popsicle mold is Tovolo. Their molds are BPA free, dishwasher safe and food safe.

Put in blender, mix well until smooth, fill into popsicle molds and freeze for about 6 hours. Before consumption hold molds under warm water, that way the popsicle will be released out of the mold much easier. Blast Off!
