Cherry Watermelon Slushies are just so perfect on a hot summer day!

No fruit screams summer like watermelon and no fruit is sweeter than super ripe red bing cherries, so put the two together and you will have the perfect summer refreshment! Frozen watermelon along with frozen cherries make an awesome refreshing combination for frozen drinks.

Whenever bing cherries are on sale during the Summer I always buy an extra batch to keep in my freezer! Frozen pitted cherries by the way, make a great straight-from-the freezer snack and they are super nutritious!

Pure maple syrup is a great sweetener for this frozen drink. It makes this slushie drink not overwhelmingly sweet and gives it just the right tad of sweetness. Since maple syrup is liquid, it dissolves much better than granulates sugar, plus it’s unrefined!

This cherry watermelon slushie is superfast to put together – I mean 1 2 3 fast!  Just make sure you have frozen watermelon and frozen pitted cherries on hand and you’re ready to rock ‘n roll this frozen summer drink.

Cherry watermelon slushies are a great crowd pleaser as well. Serve a  pitcher of this cooling Summer drink and you will have a winner at your next Summer Outdoor Barbecue Party!
