Cauliflower is a great super healthy vegetable which provides your body with tons of Vitamin C and antioxidants.
The nutritional benefits that come with broccoli are also well known – it’s one of the healthiest foods on the planet.
Both vegetables come from the cruciferous family and provide your body with a great shield of antioxidant protection. Cruciferous veggies are among the best foods that are so beneficial for your health.
I personally like adding both of these cruciferous vegetables to patties because they are high in fiber and therefore are very filling. Any leftovers I store in the fridge for a day and they make a great satisfying healthy snack the next day!
Oh and I almost forgot about the nutritious sweet potato that makes these veggie patties irresistible! The starches of the sweet potato are great for binding the patties. By adding sweet potato to your veggie patties you need less breadcrumbs in the recipe – and sweet potato adds a fantastic flavor with great healthy nutritious benefits!
