Welcome back to another edition of Sunday Fitness & Food!

It’s finally getting a bit cooler here in Palm Beach. I was baking Christmas cookies with my kids yesterday and we finished up with all the Christmas decorations. I know in a blink it will be December 25th and this year will be over.  The holidays truly are the best time of year, no matter how busy we get.

Thanks so much to everyone linking up last week. It was such a great turnout of so many great posts, and we enjoyed reading them.

Welcome to my Blog. I’m so happy you’re here. I blog about my running journey, my love for healthy food, including gluten-free and vegan recipes, and fun and easy crafts.

Your thoughts here
  1. Thank you for hosting! Have a wonderful Sunday! 🙂

  2. Thanks so much for the feature and your kind words, Ilka!

  3. Thank you as always for hosting, Ilka! I loved Kerri’s post as well–it is how I train many of my clients for their races!

  4. I’m jealous of your warm weather! Although when we lived in Houston for 2 years it felt very odd to be celebrating Christmas with summer like temperatures.

    • Absolutely – we only moved to Florida 2 years ago from NYC and I don’t think I can ever get really used to Christmas in the heat, Laura…the same goes for running 🙂

  5. Kerri’s post was good, wasn’t it? 😊

  6. It’s a bit beyond “cool” up here in the northeast. While it might not yet be winter technically, with the chill and the snow supposedly headed our way, it sure feels like it.

  7. The years going to be over before we know it. Have a great week.

  8. I agree with you Ilka, the holidays are approaching at warp speed! All 3 of my BQs were achieved on 3 runs/week. It can definitely be done, but I’ll bet the RLRF plan works best for a certain type of runner. It’s definitely not for everyone.

  9. Baking Christmas cookies is always fun, especially with little ones! Sounds like your enjoying the holiday season!

I will have to check out that Run Less Run Faster review…thanks for sharing!

  10. Happy Monday! Thanks so much for hosting 🙂

  11. Hi Ilka,
Thanks for hosting this wonderful link up party! I enjoy partying with you! It’s such a wealth of information and inspiration. Wishing you a happy holiday season.
